LKF Marketing Honored in International Web Competition

In Septemeber 207, LKF Marketing received two WebAwards in the annual WebAward Competition. Sponsored by the Web Marketing Association, the international contest names the best websites in 96 industries in more than 30 countries and sets the standard of excellence for all website creation.
LKF received recognition for its Hess Engineering for Outstanding Website; the City of Kalamazoo website earned a Standard of Excellence WebAward.
The winning website for Hess Engineering, a manufacturer of metalforming machinery, features a sophisticated creative design that emulates the Hess organization. The Web Marketing Association honored LKF for presenting a significant amount of highly organized technical content and product information suitable for a niche audience. The other winning site, the City of Kalamazoo, is an online portal for all things Kalamazoo. The appealing and interactive design engages a variety of audiences, serving as information resource for residents and as a recruitment tool for economic development professionals and prospective visitors. The 2007 WebAward Competition received more than 2,400 entries. Entries were judged according to seven criteria: design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting and ease of use. The judges represent various relevant disciplines and are distinguished experts in their fields, including the media, advertising, site design, content providers and webmasters.
