LKF Named a 101 Best & Brightest Company to Work For

Kalamazoo, Mich.ŻLKF Marketing is pleased to announce that it has been named one of Southwest Michigan's "101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For."
The annual award program was established by the Michigan Business and Professional Association (MBPA) to honor local businesses that recognize employees as their greatest asset. Each of the winning companies has demonstrated a commitment to generating organizational value and business results through the application of exceptional human resource management.
Earning the coveted "101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For" title gives companies an opportunity to showcase their exemplary culture, policies and human resource practices to the business community and to distinguish themselves as an outstanding place of employment.

Fricke has made an effort to make LKF an ideal place for her employees to work since taking sole ownership of the company in 1998. She encourages ongoing training and education, pursuit of outside interests, and opportunities for on-the-job learning.
LKF's relaxed and positive atmosphere has helped to sustain company morale and high rates of production over the years, leading to the firm's continued success. In 2007 alone, Fricke more than doubled the size of LKF's staff, hiring seven new employees to keep up with a steadily growing list of client projects.
With a new company website, increased web and internet marketing capabilities, and a number of new business plans underway, 2008 is shaping up to be LKF's best year yet.
MBPA selects winners based upon an evaluation by an independent research firm. Information from each eligible workplace is collected through extensive surveys completed by the company's employees and human resource department. Criteria for award selection include key measures such as communication, community initiatives, compensation and benefits, workforce training and education, and diversity and multi-culturalism.
An award ceremony for the winning companies will take place May 1 at The Pinnacle Center in Hudsonville, Mich.
