Jennifer Hauschild, creative director at LKF Marketing, has been installed as the 2009-2010 president of the Kiwanis club of Kalamazoo, which meets each Wednesday at noon in the Radisson Plaza Hotel and Suites.
Other club officers are Andrew Vorbrich, president-elect; Kevin Ball, vice president; Daryl Sebastian, secretary; Richard Jackson, treasurer; and Rob Atkins, past president.
Directors for the new club year are Gregory Bills, Kathleen Crepas, Vicky Cross, Gary Giguere Jr., Jon Isley, George Norberg and Scott Schrum.
During its 2008-2009 year, the club's fund-raising projects collected more than $40,000 from the public and allocated them to several local charitable entities, with Pretty Lake Vacation Camp as one of the largest recipients. Members of the worldwide Kiwanis organization focus their voluntary efforts on the needs of children.
