Kalamazoo Valley Blues Association (KVBA) was originally founded in 1994 with the sole purpose of organizing the first annual Kalamazoo Blues Festival. The resulting success gave birth to the ideals in which the organization embraces and utilizes today. As described in our mission, our goal is to keep the blues alive in Southwest Michigan!

Kiwanis International, founded in 1915, is made up of about 8,000 clubs in 96 countries with more than 260,000 adult members and approximately 320,000 youth. The Kiwanis mission is to serve the children of the world. Members help shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, mentor the disadvantaged, and care for the sick. They develop youth as leaders, build playgrounds, raise funds for pediatric research, and much more.
