LKF created a logo and materials for the first Michigan Wine and Cider Festival.
When Michigan Wines decided to create a new event to promote Michigan winery and cideries, they asked LKF to help establish branding that would attract the desired target audience.
Since the event included cider as well as wine offerings from around the state, we wanted to come up with a logo that didn't favor one type of drink over the other. Instead, we decided to incorporate the event's location - Detroit's Eastern Market, a well-known farmer's market atmosphere. The final logo is rustic, yet modern and features a barn-style image that echoes the facility's architecture.
LKF then developed associated materials such as a trade flyer, drink tickets, event signage, a program, Facebook ads, and more. Each of these pieces included the logo and expanded on its aesthetics to create a cohesive marketing effort as well as established a welcoming and informative atmosphere for festival participants and attendees.
The event was well attended by wine and cider producers from around the state and several hundred ticketholders.
