United Kennel Club selected LKF to help modernize and rebrand the organization.
If you know anything about LKF Marketing, you know that we are major dog people. From purebred and pint-sized to rescued and rambunctious, our staff loves all types of dogs and considers them family rather than pets. It was practically destined for us to help The United Kennel Club (UKC) update its logo to represent its mission to promote and protect the pedigree and function of dogs.
Working from a previous logo that included a representation of a specific type of dog, LKF opted to remove any imagery of dogs entirely from the logo. To insinuate the sense of inclusion that UKC champions, transitions between the three letters in the abbreviated name were modified and grouped.
The word "United" in the full name was also emphasized as a nod to the organization's acceptance of all dogs regardless of lineage and the importance that UKC places on the relationship between dogs and their owners.
