KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Carol Fricke will retire from her role as President and CEO of LKF Marketing (LKF) on Monday, Nov. 30. Current LKF Vice President Heather Isch has purchased the business for an undisclosed amount and will serve as President and CEO effective Dec. 1.

Fricke joined the organization in 1990. Eight years later she took over as the sole owner and continued operating under the name of LKF Marketing, Inc.

During Fricke's 25-year tenure, what began as a one-room, communication firm has grown into a bustling, full-service marketing communications agency serving clients throughout the United States and beyond.

"This transition has always been our plan," Fricke said. "Heather has been with LKF since 1998 and has served as our Vice President since 2007."

Isch earned a bachelor's degree in communications from Michigan State University and worked in the publishing and manufacturing industries before joining LKF.

"I know that I am leaving the company in great hands," Fricke said.

Isch said, "The business will continue to operate as LKF Marketing, Inc. We will continue to deliver the great marketing strategy, web design, and print and media services that LKF clients are accustomed to," Isch said. "It will be business as usual."

LKF Marketing is a full-service marketing communications agency located in downtown Kalamazoo. Since 1989, LKF has helped businesses and organizations achieve their marketing goals through strategic planning, results-driven creative execution, and communication tactics.
