KALAMAZOO, Mich.—The Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA) recently awarded LKF Marketing with four Communicator Awards. The 26th annual competition recognizes the top creative works from a range of firms and companies. More than 6,000 entrants worldwide submitted their projects for consideration.

LKF Marketing received Awards of Distinction for its work on the Rosler blog, VDI Manufacturing’s website, the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development’s inspection videos, and The Welsh Wire podcast and blog.

These projects were designed to strengthen each company’s brand recognition and audience reach in the pursuit of customer engagement and sales.

  • Rosler’s blog – Published twice a month, the blog demonstrates industry thought leadership while showcasing the company’s standard and custom-order equipment offerings, consumables, and services for the surface finishing industry. LKF contributes copywriting and creative services as well as project management and blog administration for the Rosler blog and its associated enews and social media.
  • VDI Manufacturing’s website – Designed to present a modern look and intuitive organization, the website describes VDI’s unique services and capabilities in the injection molding industry and the advantages of working with such an agile organization for fulfillment and packaging solutions. LKF provided web design, content creation, and photography services for the site’s creation as well as ongoing hosting and maintenance.
  • Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development’s inspection videos – Multiple videos were developed to inform farm owners and workers about what to expect during produce safety inspections and to make farm owners aware of produce safety technical assistance available to them. For the inspection-focused videos, Spanish language versions were also created. LKF assisted the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development with scripting, logistics, and project management.
  • The Welsh Wire podcast and blog – In addition to allowing Welsh & Associates to network with potential employers and job seekers, The Welsh Wire also acts as a platform for leaders of small to mid-size west Michigan companies to share their experience on topics like employee retention and recruitment. Published bi-monthly, Welsh & Associates partnered with LKF to create the blog and podcast from branding and implementation to production and continues to assist with distribution and promotion.

“Earning these Communicator Awards is affirmation for the collaborative and strategic work we do with our clients,” said Heather Isch, LKF Marketing’s President and Owner. “We are proud of the work that each of our clients do and are proud to share this recognition with them.”

The Communicator Awards are judged by AIVA, an organization that consists of professionals from various fields within the visual arts community, including a range of acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing firms such as Disney, Microsoft, MTV, and Yahoo!
