LKF created a website that organized UKC’s services and promoted its brand.
A necessary element of any website, regardless of the industry, is an organized site layout that follows UX standards. We kept this in mind when United Kennel Club (UKC) hired us to guide them through a complete website redesign in 2015.
The old site consisted of numerous pages that were disjointed and not mobile-friendly. Using website analytics and customer feedback to streamline information and simplify navigation in a way that was user-friendly, we consolidated all the original site’s content fewer pages.
In addition to the overhaul made to the site’s content, visual aesthetic, and structure, the new site exhibits complex, custom functionality. LKF designed tools that organize breeder information, event results, a judge directory, and a club listing. Additionally, a calendar tool that combines other backend tools to make data entry simple and consistent was implemented.
The site was launched in March 2017 and has been an essential tool for sharing UKC’s brand to current and potential customers. Custom tools and upgraded internal systems allow UKC to make easier changes and updates. LKF continues to assist UKC with their site; working with servers to ensure fast page load, accessible content, and above par performance.
