Battle Creek needed to connect job seekers with businesses and non-profits.
The Battle Creek Workforce Development Group contacted LKF Marketing to help improve awareness of the variety of workforce system resources available to job seekers and businesses in Battle Creek. The goal is to help more job seekers find the tools and resources they need to be successful in a job, as well as finding suitable employment, while also seek to help employers/partners easily connect with job seekers. We quickly realized that a central place to direct job seekers and employers to would be the best way to cull all of the resources in the Battle Creek community surrounding workforce development.
LKF worked with the Workforce Development group to determine that the best solution for the community would be a website that housed all of the needed resources. The website would include a quiz function for both job seekers and businesses that would allow users to build a custom plan with links to resources, a searchable database of all community resources related to workforce development, and links to the best choices for job search websites. After the website plan was established, LKF got to work on building a brand that was born as Connect Battle Creek.
