Working to rebrand the entire school district, LKF designed a mascot logo.
A critical component of district-wide rebanding was the mascot identity which is used on a variety of school and sports-related items.
Having been around since the late 1960s, Parchment had an existing identity as the Panthers. It was important to update the panther without losing decades of school pride. After developing a few test panther graphics, we took them to various target audiences for feedback, including elementary school students, parents, alumni, and more.
The end result was a modern panther that was clearly Parchment-specific and could easily be used and modified for a wide variety of end uses. In addition, we developed a style guide that is used to ensure compliance with a set of graphics standards to keep the Parchment branding strong.
