Print ads target new homeowners and gardening enthusiasts.
Beginning in early spring, LKF worked with Mulder's to create and launch a print ad campaign. An extension of branding found in outdoor advertising, the website, and brochures created for Mulder's, the print ads ran through late summer.
Publications were selected based on geographical coverage area as well as reader demographics and interests with specific attention paid to audiences who may have recently bought a home or moved into the area, home and garden publications, and women.
Typically sized to a full-page, the ads were printed in full color and included valuable coupons. The imagery within the ads matches that of the billboards up during that month and progress throughout the season, starting with dirt and ending with a finished landscape.
Mulder's has reported a strong response from the ads and is tracking the specific coupon utilization in-house.
